A walk along the irregular streets of el Pedró lets you know some interesting buildings. At the entrance of the place there is a big house with fortification features on a stone basement. It is Ca la Pruna, an enormous building from the 15th and 16th centuries, reconverted into a Museum and into the cultural centre that holds conferences and exhibitions.

At the top of the hill, after walking along the well cared for streets full of plants and flowers, a visitor gets to the façade of the Gothic Church of Saint Peter. It is worth going inside and enjoying the graceful forms of the architecture before going on to the surprises of el Pedró. Not far from the apse of the church there is the Torre de les Hores, the only evidence that has been preserved from an old castle that was demolished under the orders of King Joan II in the 15th century.

The area has the magnificent beach of Pals, that occupies all the Southern part of the wide bay that reaches l'Estartit and the Massis del Montgrí.
