The visit should be organised with the thrill of discovering this place and being careful not to alter the spirit of conservation and protection which has inspired the creation of this natural park. Visits may take place from one hour before sunrise up to one hour after sunset. The best times to observe some of the more than 300 species of birds are in the morning and at dusk, and the best times of year are from March to May and from August to October, which is when the migrations take place. |

We shouldn?t forget to visit the Senillosa observatory, following the Massona itinerary. In 1959 four towers were built to store and dry the rice and one of them was fitted out in 1996 as a privileged observatory 22 metres high from where you can enjoy a really exceptional panoramic view.

In this natural park you will discover a great variety of animal species and a rich vegetation thanks to the contrasts derived from its proximity to the sea: moorhens, coots and storks live side by side with all types of insects, frogs, badgers, rabbits, weasels and even otters and in winter some wild boar, in an area dominated by water and vegetation. |
