This route, which combines exuberant natural landscapes with valuable architectural and historical remains, begins in Darnius, at the Boadella reservoir. We continue to Aguallana, where we will see menhirs,dolmens and a necropolis close to the village, and also a few modernist buildings. |

In La Vajol there is a monument to President LLuís Companys. We take the road to Maçanet de Cabrenys, the site of the Salines-Bassegoda Tourist Office: but first, we can visit the Sanctuary of Mare de Déu de les Salines and the Cabrera castle. |

Afterwards we can go on to Albanyà to visit the Monastery of Sant Pere, that of Sant LLorenç and the Sanctuary of Mare de Déu del Mont. We finish the route at the enchanting village of Sant LLorenç de la Muga, with its walled enclosure, Romanesque church and Old Bridge. |
